Tetsuro Homma currently serves as Board Member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, Representative Director & Member of the Board of Panasonic Corporation, General Representative of Panasonic Corporation’s China & Northeast Asia Company, and President of Panasonic Corporation of China. He graduated from Seijo University in Japan and joined the Panasonic Corporation in 1985. He has been executive director, managing director, representative director of Panasonic Corporation and president of Panasonic Corporation’s China & Northeast Asia Company.
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, formerly known as the Beijing Japanese Club of Commerce and Industry in 1980, was established in 1991 as the first foreign chamber of commerce in China. It currently has 583 members in China, and its six branches, namely, the chambers of commerce, industry, finance, transport, services, foreign-funded enterprises and food, promote business development through information exchange, lectures, seminars, study tours and other activities.
