To fully implement the new development concept, pursue a new development pattern, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Shandong Province and the Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading enterprises from Japan and South Korea under the new situation, the "Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500 & Online Meeting for Deepening Business Cooperation from Japan and ROK with Shandong, PRC", sponsored by the Shandong Provincial CPC Committee and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, and organized by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province will be held on December 2, 2021.

The conference will be held in a form of in-person as well as online participation, with the main venue in Jinan and branch venues in 16 cities of Shandong Province. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and Former South Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun will deliver video address. Chairman of the Japan-China Investment Promotion Organization (JCIPO) Yasuhiro Sato will give an online speech. Secretary of Shandong Provincial CPC Committee Li Ganjie, and Governor Zhou Naixiang will have online dialogues with leaders of the Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading enterprises from Japan and South Korea in terms of new opportunities generated by Shandong's further opening up, and the outlook for new and deeper cooperation between Shandong and Japanese and South Korean multinationals.
