Dhanin Chearavanont

Thailand Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group

Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, a Thai Chinese entrepreneur, joined the Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) in 1963. He worked as CP’s President in 1969 and Chairman in 1989. He has served as Senior Chairman of CP Group since 2017.

The Charoen Pokphand Group was founded in 1921 in Thailand. Its business lines cover agro-industry, aquaculture, telecommunications, petrochemicals, property development, pharmaceuticals, health care, retail, film and television production, finance, international trade, and automotive products. The CP Group exports goods and services to over 100 countries and regions worldwide and has more than 350,000 employees. Its total global sales in 2019 were about 68 billion US dollars.
