Chairman of RGE Group

Mr. Sukanto Tanoto,born in Belawan,Medan,North Sumatra,Indonesia, is currently the Honorary President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Executive Director of China Overseas Friendship Association.

In 1967, Mr. Tanoto founded the Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) Group. RGE Group has developed into one of the best vertically integrated renewable resources companies in the world. By 2020, assets held by RGE companies have exceeded 20 billion US dollars. RGE manages a global group of companies with a workforce of over 60,000 people. Since RGE entered China in the 1990s, it has invested more than 60 billion RMB in China, mainly in provinces such as Shandong, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, and Jiangsu, etc.
