Approved by Shandong Provincial People’s Government, Shandong Provincial Airport Management Group is a provincial key enterprise responsible for the overall planning, construction, development and operation management of airports across the province. It was inaugurated on February 27, 2019, and initially integrated six airports including the airports in Jinan, Yantai, Weihai, Linyi, Rizhao and Dongying, and was entrusted the management of Jining Airport. The Group reached an agreement with Heze Municipal Government to intervene in the construction of Heze Airport in advance. In the future, other newly built and relocated airports will be gradually integrated according to the principle of “build one, integrate one”. Shandong Provincial Airport Management Group assumes the main responsibility for the overall plan for the construction of major civil aviation transportation infrastructure and the unified planning, development, and operation management of transportation airports in the province, promotes the development of the province’s civil aviation industry and realizes the integration of industry and finance, and strives to build itself into a leading airport management group serving the province’s economic strategy while developing forward-looking strategic industries in China, providing basic support and power source for the economic and social development of Shandong Province.
