Li Guangguo
President of Hyundai Motor Group (China)
Li Guangguo joined Hyundai Motor in 1986 and successively served as the legal representative of the Group’s UK Investment Company and Head of Vehicle Export Support Office, Brand Strategy Office, External Affairs Office, Washington Office and Korea Business Division. He was promoted to President in October 2019 and served as CEO of Hyundai Motor Group (China) Ltd, taking full charge of the Group’s operations in China.
Hyundai Motor was founded in 1967 and integrated with Kia Motors in 1998 to become the largest automobile company in South Korea. In 2000, Hyundai Motor Group was formally founded. As of 2019, Hyundai Motor Group owns 5 major business units including finished vehicles, parts, iron & steel, construction, finance and logistics, and 53 affiliated companies. It has 34 assembly plants and 12 R&D centers in 10 countries. In 2019, Hyundai Motor Group sold 7.2 million vehicles globally, with sales of USD 217.9 billion, ranking No. 5 among the auto manufacturers worldwide.
