II Introduction to the project unit

Datang Shandong Power Generation Co., Ltd., founded in January 2009, is a state-owned exclusive company founded by China Datang Corporation with registered capital being 3 billion CNY. Main business scope of the company comprises: production and sales management of electric power and heating power; maintenance, debugging, operation maintenance, manufacturing and selling of electrical equipment; research and test of electrical power engineering and techniques; development and technology promotion service of new energy; leasing industry; enterprise management and consultation service; investment construction and investment management; supply of electrical power materials; application and development service of computers. The company currently has 2788 employees.

III Project content and scale of the construction

The large-scale coal-electricity integration power generation project is invested and constructed by Datang Shandong Power Generation Co., Ltd.. Planned engineering capacity is 4×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit. The project will be constructed in several phases. In this phase, the 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit will be constructed as well as the flue gas desulfurization and denitration device, and the space for extension has been left. In this project, the 2× 1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit will be constructed as well as the flue gas desulfurization and denitration device.

IV Construction conditions of the project

At present, the project has been approved by People’s Government of Heze under the operation of Preparation Office of Datang Yuncheng Power Generation Project. Index for total emission control of main pollutants has been approved by environmental protection agency of the city, and the index for coal decrement and replacement has been approved by economic information management committee of the city. The project is expected to start the construction in 2017.

VI Market and economic benefit analysis and forecast

After the engineering is completed and put into operation, 4.43 million tons of coals will be consumed supposing that the number of annual utilization hours is 5500, the generating capacity is expected to be 110×108kWh, the transported electric power is expected to be 103×108kWh, the sales income can reach to 4.5 billion CNY, the profit and tax can reach to 1.54026 billion CNY, 300 employees will be newly increased, and about 550 local employees will be used.
