II Brief introduction to the project undertaker

Founded in March 2003, Shandong Haisen Medicine Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical enterprise with Chinese patent medicine and Chemical drug preparations as the main products. In May 2012, it was purchased by Shandong Homey Aquatic Development Co., Ltd., and was renamed Shandong Homey Haisen Medicine Co., Ltd. The company has a solid preparation workshop which produces three dosage forms, namely, tablet, hard capsule and granula. At present, the company has four kinds of state-level new drugs, namely, Hepatitis B Clearing Heat and Detoxicating Tablet (Yigan Qingre Jiedu Pian), Hemostasis Particles (Zhixuebao Keli), Nephritis Warm Yang Capsules (Shenyan Wenyang Jiaonang), and Metformin Hydrochloride and Glibenclamide Tablets. The company also has health care products such as Compound Paracetamol and Amantadine Tablets and Sulfamethoxazole, Sulfadiazine and Trimethoprim Tablets.

III Project content and construction scale

The company exploits land of 12 in Rongcheng Economic Technical Development Zone to newly build a modern medicine production base, with a planned construction area of around 24,000 square meters, including facilities such as comprehensive preparations workshops, Chinese medicine extract workshop and warehouses.

IV Construction conditions of the project

The main part of the first-phase project has been completed, and the purification equipment is being installed. The project is estimated to be put into production in 2015.

VI Market and economic benefic analysis and forecast

The project is estimated to annually produce 500 million tablets, 40 million bags of granule and 100 million capsules after it is put into production.
