Project on New-energy Automobile Industrial Park of Development Zone of Yantai

II Introduction to the project unit

Built in 1984, Development Zone of Yantai is one of the first 14 national economic and technical development zones in China. It takes the lead in passing ISO9000 quality management system certification and ISO14001 environmental management system certification nationwide. The two leading industries in the development zone include machinery manufacturing centering on automobile and parts and electronic information emphasizing on mobile phones and computers.

III Project content and scale of the construction

In 2014, the two leading industries of the Development Zone of Yantai mentioned above have grown rapidly and steadily, and therefore the Development Zone became the national demonstration base for new industrialization. This project mainly manufactures automobile hubs, special-use steering gears, filters, piston rings, sensors, thermolators, anti-lock braking system (ABS) devices, combination instruments, auxiliary products for special-use ABS, clutch assembly system and so on.

IV  Construction conditions of the project

Development Zone of Yantai is positioned as a new urban district for modern industry. It is equipped with functional parks such as national-level bonded port area, resource regeneration and processing area and pioneer park for overseas students. It possesses more than 3500 industrial enterprises, including more than 1280 sino-invested and foreign-invested enterprises. Nearly 60 Global 500 enterprises, Top 500 enterprises in China and central enterprises such as Foxconn Group, LG Group, Doosan Group, GM, SAIC, Sinochem International, LongCNY Power and Lenovo Group have set up their plants in the development zone successively.
