II  Introduction to the project unit

Management Committee of Yantai Headquarter Economic Base is founded on October 15, 2010 by approval of Yantai Municipal Government. It is a vice-county-level public institution and has four internal organizations including a general affairs department, a development promoting department, a financial review department and a construction management department, which are responsible for construction, management and operation of the headquarter base.

III  Project content and scale of the construction

The project is divided into four functional areas which respectively are a business office area, a commercial finance service area, a research and development center and a supporting living area. The district adopts the development pattern of "government domination and market operation" which mainly attracts notable transnational corporations, domestic and overseas financial institutions, large enterprises, regional headquarters founded by large groups, research and development centers, operation centers and marketing centers.

Yantai Headquarter Economic Base is one of the four major projects in service industry of Yantai, which is located at a prime position with a total planned area of 5.13 square kilometers.

About 10 billion USD which comes from self-raised funds or financing channels.

VI  Market and economic benefit analysis and forecast

The development target of Yantai Headquarter Economic Base is to build a business office center of Yantai headquarter and construct a modernized gathering place of urban public facilities integrating corporate headquarter offices, relaxation and business, convention, exhibition and training and commercial entertainment. It will become the new headquarter business office center of Yantai, optimize resource allocation and business environment of Yantai and even Shandong Peninsula, promote the important position of Yantai in the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula and regional central cities of Bohai Economic Rim and form a new economic growth point.
