II  Introduction to the project unit

The Zhongtong New Energy Automobile Industrial Park was founded in 2011, and its leading industry is whole automobile and auto parts manufacturing. Number of employees in the park is nearly 10,000, and the number of existing enterprises above designed scale is 13. In 2013, the main business income of the industries above the designed scale was 6.75 billion CNY, the profit and tax were 0.91 billion CNY.

III  Project content and scale of the construction

The park has taken the new energy and energy-saving automobile manufacturing as its leading industry and taken automotive electronic technology and manufacturing of low-pollution, low-energy auto parts as its dominant industry. Notable brands and enterprises with core competitiveness are attracted to the park, and a production and sales base for new energy automobiles and relevant products is built. The park has attracted investment centering on industrial upgrading, extension of industrial chain and industrial supporting of existing enterprises so as to lengthen the automobile industrial chain. The park is also active in introducing whole vehicle manufacturing enterprises and enterprises for manufacturing key parts such as vehicle electrical control system, electrical machine, battery, axle, automobile body, steering gear, hub and automobile wire harness and realizing large production capacity of passenger vehicles, high grade of commercial vehicles, high capacity of new energy automobiles and high level of parts so that rapid, healthy and sustainable development of automobile industry in Liaocheng development zone can be promoted.

IV  Construction conditions of the project

Infrastructure construction of the park begins to take shape, "seven accesses and site leveling" have been completed, and infrastructure including water, electricity, heat, natural gas and communication has been matched to the land edges of the enterprises. The park was awarded Provincial High-end Equipment Manufacturing (new-energy automobiles) Industrial Park in 2012.
