II  Introduction to the project unit

Laiyang Dingzi Bay Nanhai New District started planning and construction in 2007, with the investment of whole district completed of 5.8 billion Yuan. The tourist attractions and leisure sports facilities, such as the golf course Phase I and II project of Golden Mountain International Club, Niangiang Mountain Scenic Spot, Fushan Mountain Dragon King Temple Scenic Spot, Jinshan Mountain Pagoda Scenic Spot, Yuhuang Mountain Ski Resort, etc. have been established and put into Operation. In addition, the tourist service facilities, such as Four-star Nanhai Resort Hotel, Five-star Golden Mountain International Hotel have been established and put into operation. While the exploitation for Sanjia Temple Scenic Spot and Wulong River Scenic Spot are under urgent construction. The big tourism landscape of “one river (Wulong River), one bay (Dingzi Bay of Yellow Sea), two islands (Xiang Island, Li Island), four mountains (Jinshan Mountain, Fushan Mountain, Yuhuang Mountain and Niangniang Mountain)” is beginning to take shape.

III  Project content and scale of the construction

The project plans to select a site in southern area of Qingdao-Weihai Highway in the east of Laiyang Dingzi Bay Nanhai New District. The total area covers 2,200 hectares, including 440 hectares of construction land which is divided into five functional zones. It will be built into a large international industrial district integrating comprehensive functions and supporting services, such as health maintenance, endowment, medical treatment, rehabilitation, leisure, living, business, entertainment, etc. The total building area is about 3,000,000 square meters.

IV  Construction conditions of the project

The “12th Five-Year Plan” of the state proposed the following general requirements: Deal with the aging of population actively; develop social endowment service preferentially; cultivate and expand aged service business and industry. Combined with this historic opportunity and the general requirement “gathering industry, carrying population” of the new-type urbanization construction, Laiyang Dingzi Bay Nanhai New District has natural endowments and ecological environment advantages. Therefore it has actual realistic feasibility and good social demonstration effect to emphatically develop coastal enlarged health maintenance and endowment industry.

After put into operation, the project will achieve the annual sales revenue of 1 billion Yuan and taxes of 200 million Yuan.
