Jinan Knowledge Industrial Park Project between China and Singapore is a key project jointly promoted by provincial, municipal, district three levels of government and related departments. Next, it is planned to build a cooperation platform as the fulfilling body for cooperation with Singapore by taking Huaiyin District as the main part.
III Project content and scale of the construction
The industrial park is preliminarily defined to be built into a new science-technology town with international demonstration significance and with highly clustered industries, such as creative wisdom, technical research and development, finance and insurance, e-commerce, precision manufacturing and high-end headquarters, etc. by taking modern service industry and high-tech industry with high export-oriented degree as the leading industries. Municipal party committee and municipal government have regarded this project as the new mode and new pattern to lead open economy development of our city.
IV Construction conditions of the project
Huaiyin District has basically completed the investigation on the proposed plot and preliminary estimates of project cost. China has made several negotiations with Singapore; in particularly, Sembcorp has reached an agreement with China in aspects of joint venture mode, investment estimation, specific content and cost for the park demolition and settlement, infrastructure construction, surrounding supporting infrastructure and other matters.
V Market and economic benefit analysis and forecast
Jinan Knowledge Industrial Park Project between China and Singapore is located in the west of Jinan, which is adjacent to West Railway Station area, with obvious traffic and location advantages. It is the forerunner area for cultivation of new west town industry and the core area for creation of provincial capital city cluster economic circle industry, with bright market prospects.
