II Brief introduction to the project undertaker

The project is located in Jinan High-Tech Development Zone. Jinan High-Tech Development Zone is one of the first state-level high-tech industrial development zones established under the approval in 1991, including three areas，namely, Central Area (23.3 square kilometers), Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone(5.2 square kilometers ) and Sun Village New District (104.5 square kilometers).

III Project content and construction scale

The project is to introduce world famous enterprises of electric power equipment manufacturing, to establish Jinan R&D and manufacturing base, to invest to research and develop and manufacture intelligent grid equipment, and to participate in the implementation and reconstructed project of national intelligent grid.

IV Construction conditions of the project

At present, State Grid Corporation is investing to build Jinan manufacturing base project of China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. (thereafter referred to CET) with the total investment of RMB 8.7 billion Yuan and an area of 187 ha. The first phase project has been completed and put in production. CET is one of the key national manufacturing bases of UHV transformer.

Jinan City is an important electric power equipment manufacturing industry base in China, which has several nationally-known electric power equipment manufacturing enterprises including XD Jinan Transformer Co., Ltd., Shandong Electric Power Equipment Factory, Shandong Electrical Engineering & Equipment Group Co., Ltd., CETSDEC, CET AE Power (Shandong) High-Voltage Switchgear Co., Ltd., and Simens Transformer Co. Ltd, with strong manufacturing capacity of electric power equipment and a key role in national electric power equipment manufacturing industry.
